Music distribution platform UnitedMasters has launched career coaching tool Blueprint AI along with Real-Time Royalties for near-instant payouts from Spotify and Apple Music streams. By giving independent artists faster access to earnings and strategic guidance, the two initiatives aim to tackle common industry hurdles.
AI in your corner: Blueprint AI is pitched as offering a "major-label-level strategy without the major-label deal." The tool promises members custom release plans, data-driven marketing insights, and on-demand advice, effectively serving as a pocket-sized strategic partner for artists navigating their careers.
Show me the money, now: Real-Time Royalties allows artists to receive payments almost immediately for streams on Apple Music and Spotify, bypassing the standard 40 to 75-day industry waiting period. UnitedMasters Select and Partner-tier artists will see daily deposits in their UnitedMasters Wallet, a system powered by a predictive royalty model that analyzes streaming data in real time. This model, as noted by Musically.com, can calculate artist payouts even before funds arrive from streaming platforms.
Changing the tune for artists: These tools represent UnitedMasters' latest move to empower independent artists, enabling them to quickly reinvest earnings from viral moments into studio time, marketing, or touring. By providing both strategic AI-driven guidance and faster cash flow, the company hopes to further level the playing field in the music industry.
